Clumps Club Leader (part time)
Salary £10.50 per hour
The Clumps Club leader will work in partnership with a second leader to guide the clumps club activity days. Outdoor activity days for groups of up to 30 children aged 8-12 years. Themes include animal tracking, bushcraft and wild play. Children stay from 10am to 3pm daily taking part in outdoor activities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging leader who is experienced working with children. Having local knowledge of the clumps and a first aid certificate is an advantage. There are six days of clumps club in 2012 but this role could be combined with the Green Birthday Party Organiser post.

Green Birthday Party Organiser (part time)
Salary £10.50 per hour
The Green Birthday Party Organiser will be responsible for the planning preparation and delivery of innovative and exciting activities for Green Birthday Parties. The idea behind Green Birthday parties is to give children exciting outdoor activities in their local landscape that is well planned. At present we run six different themed parties, two for younger children and four for 7-12 year olds. The themes vary from wild art to shelter building and from habitats to nature tots. This would be a part time role working mostly weekends. An average party lasts two hours with 1 ½ hours dedicated to the themed activity. We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging instructor who is experienced working with children. Having local knowledge of the clumps and a first aid certificate is an advantage.

Volunteer Education Tutor (part time)
Download person specification The Earth Trust is pleased to offer a volunteer Education Tutor position. This position is an excellent way of receiving a wide range of formal and on the job training and work experience. In order for the post holder to gain knowledge in education tasks of all seasons including term time and holiday activities a 12 month placement is recommended.
Formal training will include First Aid and at least two other relevant training courses.
The Volunteer education tutor will receive on the job training working with primary and secondary schools in various natural habitats as well as practical and craft skills at events. Informal training will be given in the safe use and maintenance of a wide range of tools and equipment as required in particular to help with the Countryside Skills Course.
Volunteers are a very important part of our work at the Earth Trust. We hope to offer a diverse programme of work to provide a wide range of training opportunities. Volunteers will be involved in the practical delivery of tasks related to Education, Engagement and conservation.
