Local wildlife photographer, Jo Cartmell has kindly volunteered to be the Earth Trust's official wildlife photographer.
Jo believes that a picture really can speak a thousand words and sees wildlife photography as a great way of engaging people with nature, "The natural world is incredibly inspiring. Thrupp Lake at Radley, for example, can be magical in early morning mists and at sunset".
Jo is also interested in wildflower meadow restoration and wetland creation, key conservation approaches used by the Earth Trust. "I hope that my photographs will help the Trust convey how important green spaces, including our own gardens, are for wildlife".
