Trees absorb carbon as part of their growing cycle; therefore planting a tree reduces atmospheric carbon, which is a contributing factor in climate change. The trees at Paradise Wood are used in our nationally recognised research programme, to discover which trees are most suitable for quality timber production in the UK. We periodically plant trees in Paradise Wood which we nurture and study throughout their lifetimes. For only £10, you can dedicate one of these trees to a person of your choice.

The recipient will receive a beautiful sponsor pack including:

• A certificate to show that a tree has been planted in the chosen persons name

Please note that as a research woodland, Paradise Wood is not accessible to the public. We periodically plant trees in Paradise Wood. For your donation we will dedicate a newly planted tree in Paradise Wood in your name (or a name of your choice) and your donation will go towards the work of the Trust; managing and protecting habitats and wildlife. We do not assign specific trees or use named plaques, as these can cause damage to the tree.
