Lambing Weekends

Volunteers at Lambing

Our Lambing Weekends in the spring are our busiest festival, attracting over 8,000 visitors across the four days. These weekends are our biggest events and they couldn’t happen without the support of a small army of volunteers!

This year's Lambing Weekends are 17th-18th and 24th-25th March 2018.

What do volunteers do at Lambing?

If you’ve attended one of our Lambing Weekends, then you’ve already seen our volunteers in action, working closely alongside Earth Trust staff.

They can be found demonstrating craft activities, greeting visitors at the entrance, helping in the café, and guiding visitors around the site.

What will volunteers get out of Lambing?

Volunteering at Lambing provides volunteers with the chance to help at a very busy public event. There are a wide range of roles and we always do our best to match volunteers up with tasks that they are happy to do. In return, volunteers have the opportunity to work as part of a team, put their skills to good use or even learn some new ones. All our volunteers are well supported by members of Earth Trust staff on the day and we provide lunch and plenty of tea and coffee!
