Leadership on the Edge
Earth Trust is delighted to invite you to meet Robert Swan OBE during the lecture Leadership on the edge: Saving our wilderness. Join us at the Oxford University Museum on Natural History on Friday 19th May.
Robert Swan is the first man to have walked unsupported to both poles and is currently attempting to walk with his son to the South Pole using only solar energy to support them. He has dedicated his life to the conservation of the world’s greatest remaining wilderness and to inspiring young people to become the next generation of environmental leaders. As well as a fascinating talk by Robert on his expeditions, his dedication to preserving Antarctica and inspiring our future leaders, the evening will also include the opportunity for a private tour of the renowned Pitt Rivers Museum*, a drinks reception amongst the exhibits in the historic hall of the Natural History Museum and silent auction.
